Amphenol AIPC is proud to be participating in many of this years events at Trade Shows, Interoperability Testing, Plug Fests, and other data center venues covering High Speed cable assemblies and power solutions for servers, switches, storage and HBA’s. Amphenol AIPC will be showcasing the full line of 10Gb SFP+ (copper and optical modules), InfiniBand QDR QSFP, Mini-SAS, 40GigE QSFP all in both passive and active formats. In addition to High Speed cable assemblies, Amphenol AIPC will also be promoting power solutions such as Bus Bar’s and Power Lug with available Radsok solutions.

Amphenol is proud to be participating in this years Ethernet Alliance booth at the SC'09 conference in November. The EA will be demonstrating the latest data center, Converged Network technology with a live demo representing multiple server, switch, storage and interconnect vendors. Amphenol will be showcasing our full line of 10Gb SFP+ interconnect including Direct Attach Copper cables both, passive and active, 10GbE SR transceivers, OM3 optical cables and the board receptacles and cages.

Increase Reliability, Decrease Watts. AIPC announces Power Lug Single and MultiCable Terminations.

A Power Lug cable termination is formed from contiguous copper stranding eliminating the crimp joint of a standard ring terminal or two hole lug. This significantly increases cable termination reliability while reducing MV drop inherent within a crimp joint. Available standard or custom Power Lug configurations allow closer spacing as the joint diameter does not exceed the diameter of the terminated cable.

The launch of the AIPC website was a success. Information on several AIPC products has been added, including data sheets in PDF form. On these data sheets you can find technical info on AIPC products. We have several new products, including 4X Active InfiniBand cable, SFP+ copper and optical cable assemblies, and Power Lug.

AIPC has announced the opening of a brand new website. The new website, featuring updated data on all major AIPC products, is expected to go live early in August. Stay tuned. One of the key new features of amphenol-aipc.com will be the addition of data sheets in PDF form, available for download.
